TURBULENCE NEW RELEASE "We need a time machine"

Today the video of the latest single released by Jamaican artist Turbulence « Time Machine » has been unveiled. This is the 4th title of the album The Remedy (after Mamma VivaDefenders and Celebration of life), which will be available in full on the platforms on June 11, 2021.

Turbulence explains : « About the concept of the time machine... my mamma used to tell me a lot of stories of when she was growing up. Everybody used to be peaceful, to be caring for one another, you know mi I say... those times were nice, speaking of Malcolm X,  Martin Luther King, and Mother Teresa, all they were doing was fighting in different ways, for justice and peace, for unity and equality for all. That's why i said "I link up scientists", create a time machine so we can go back to that mindset, without color prejudice, without racism, considering that there is only one human race... that, should matter, only one nation under god. We need a time machine to reset, you know mi a say, so that many things don't happen."

Like the two previous titles, the Austrian band Fireman crew plays the music. However, this time, the producer Neva Stop Production opted for a video animated by the artist Robin Clare, based in Australia. Her work riffs on the colour, rhythm and repetition of Dancehall and Reggae music, the dominant pop culture of her native island, Jamaica. Inspired by the music and the aesthetics of Jamaican party promotions she produces a clash of hand-drawn typography, bold large scale paintings, illustrations and hand-drawn animations. Robin’s work reflects a society that is imaginative, inventive, colourful, resilient and never shy of a little bit of controversy.

The result is fantastical ! Beautiful and coherent, unique and highly modern. For 3 minutes 20, you really feel like traveling in space

Ineffable Records, the Californian distributor does less visible but essential work. The team aims to continuously increase the fan base of the artist Turbulence, relying on a monthly single release that follows a very strict actions plan. It ensures that all the released song are placed in the best playlists and make sure that all fans will come across them one day or the other.
